digital dream collage targets the screen, not paper.
Light—beams of pure photons streaming to the viewer's eyes—is the essential dream medium. LCD monitors and plasma displays produce stunning luminance and color impossible to achieve with inks and dyes.
Since it's expensive to hang 50 monitors in a gallery, the dream screen is an installation comprising a single high-resolution monitor that can display any number of collages. Each collage blends slowly to the next, like dreams floating through consciousness.
The window at left simulates the dream screen with 15 collages from the dream gallery. The simulator is configured to display each dream collage for ~6 seconds. It works with Internet Explorer and Firefox.
